About
My name is Curt Baney, and I’m the creator and writer of “the second half.” I’m married (Jackie) with three grown children and live in Chicago, Illinois. My passion is people, and I primarily work in Human Resources with a local not-for-profit organization. When not working or writing, I’m a runner and find great pleasure and solice in running the lakefront here in Chicago. In assembling material for my first book, I decided to author a blog and reach out to a segmented audience, the youth and the seniors. My writing uses humor and observations to speak to building passion for life and unleashing possibilities in an uncertain world. After deciding my life will span a hundred years (or so), and that I’ve crossed the first fifty, I’m now within my “second half.” I hope you enjoy it and will allow me to share some thoughts with you!

I didn’t know you were a writer too. I’ve had some legal and academic things published and I have a couple of things swirling around in my brain; some is actually down on paper in parts.
